15 Now Minnesota is an independent grassroots movement fighting to raise the minimum wage to $15/hour for every worker in the Twin Cities. Through years of rallies and strikes, Minneapolis workers won the first $15 minimum wage in the Midwest despite big business opposition and inertia in the political establishment. Now workers in St. Paul are organizing to do the same. The rent won’t wait! Volunteer and donate today!

Vermont Legislature Passes $15!

Vermont is on its way to raising the minimum wage to $15/hr by 2024. That will give thousands of working families the hard-earned raise the need.

One Vermont rep said “We all know the old saying that a rising tide lifts all boats… the idea that when others do better, we do better as a whole.”

Here in Minnesota we face the same crisis of poverty, with thousands of families struggling to pay rent and put food on the table. While Vermont moves towards passing $15, the corporate lobbyists at the Minnesota State Capitol are trying to steal our raises by passing preemption, a policy that makes it illegal for cities to raise the minimum wage.

We’re calling on Saint Paul to say NO to corporate interference and be leaders like the Vermont legislature by passing a $15 minimum wage for all workers with no tip penalty or carve-outs! This Monday we’ll rally at the Capitol-- Will you join us?
